Larry Wins One for the Cats
Silent Larry shot a 79 off the stick at Pattaya Country Club to win the monthly trophy by 3 stableford points over the ever improving Blue Moose manageress, Gay. Larry had 42 points to Gay's 39 with Ponytail Paul taking third place honors with 37 stableford points. In a countback, Brian Carr pipped Gerd for the final podium spot. While both had 36 points, Brian's 18 on the back nine was one better than Gerd. The heavens opened up on the back nine and while most waited it out and finished the round, a few gave it up. The kitten pictured is named Lucky (to be alive) and has an interesting and nearly unbelievable story.
The near pins were won by Kenny Mau on the 5th hole, Big Gary Crutchfield on the 7th and Gay on the 16th. Kenny traded his chicken wings in for a sleeve of Blue Moose logo Noodle golf balls, Gary drew a yellow chip while Gay celebrated her shot with a shot o tequila.
Next week's outing is detailed in the events section.

Unfortunately Paul and Dougie were unable to attend due to health issues.

Steve Clarke won the 7th and Ciano got his birdie on the 12th from about 3 feet - both drew chicken wing chips. Janthorn of Butterfly fame received a pizza for her fine shot on the tough 16th.
